I started my sorority position as director of digital media in December of 2022. I learned how to properly execute graphics as well as posts that catch the public eye and boost the brand. I had full control of both the Instagram as well as the Tiktok in which I highlighted our sorority and was able to use my creativity and skill to portray what our chapter is all about and provide an outreach to anyone who is interested in Greek Life. Because of my social media use, we had a high retention rate for women who joined our sorority, with multiple women saying the Instagram was what they truly loved.I began working for Golden Magazine in October of 2023 where I am a social media chair. Through this I have learned how to use tools such as adobe software and excel to create content that is unlike anything seen before. I highlight fashion trends, popular culture ideals, and local business and brands. I focus on a color palette to create an aesthetically pleasing Instagram feed and use apps such as Tiktok to spread ideas to common-folk as well as other influencers.
