I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati: College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning pursuing a bachelor of science in Architecture. I found my love for architecture and structural design in my AP Environmental Science class where I was introduced to sustainable building practices. In school, I have been building my knowledge base, specifically in 3D designing and project management.Previously, I worked as a lead chef at Comidas Bar and Restaurant, a prestigious, local eatery. This was an opportunity where I developed strong communication skills and ability to work in high pressure environments. I was also the president of my high school’s Environmental Club and a team leader of Mental Health Club. Currently, I am involved in the Society of Women Engineers and a member of the Mountaineering Club at UC. These experiences opened me to a diverse support system of individuals with similar interests as me. Through these opportunities, I learned to value discipline and collaboration.In the future, I am hoping to work in architecture and design with a focus on sustainable building materials. I am enthusiastic about learning new skills and building on previous experiences, especially those that involve anything about the environment or design. I am excited to explore the numerous job fields available to architect students.
