While continuing to practice as Erdős attorneys, Jon Mayhugh and I will be adjunct professors at Wake Forest School of Law. Because Erdős Intellectual Property Law is at the forefront of high-tech law firms, Wake Law reached out to us to educate students about technology and modern law practice. This course will be an experiential seminar; students will learn how legal technologies are making the practice of law and legal services high-quality and accessible like never before. We'll be touching on cloud workflow and project management solutions, artificial intelligence & alternative expert systems, smart contracts/blockchain technologies, data security, ethics and so much more. Our goal is to empower law students to become high-impact leaders in the organizations that they will be joining or starting themselves. Our students will be discerning implementers of technologies for the modern law practice. Students will even be interacting with our A.I. assistant and meeting (human) executives from bleeding-edge legal technology companies.Reviews of the course:"Professor's insights on the technology at play is incredible. Particularly given the amount of knowledge and experience that they hold. I really like the way the presentations from the professors usually expand and go beyond the reading that was required in preparation for class.
