For two decades, I have been a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who has worked with thousands of children with differing abilities. I help parents tackle big topics with their children in age-appropriate ways and help kiddos build the skills they need to succeed in challenging environments. Early in my career, I pursued a diverse array of continuing education varying from Developmental Movement Training to Yoga and Pilates for special needs. These workshops help me to acquire additional skills to consistently be a better therapist. Eventually I found a complementary form of medicine. I began by applying some of the simplest techniques from this modality to compliment a sample of my current client's ongoing therapeutic interventions and saw marked improvements in a shorter period of time with this group. This was evident by my client's reaching their goals sooner and positive behavioral changes. As I continued to implement more techniques, monitor effects and document changes seen with each client I noticed a trend. The parents noted their children were happier, calmer and more compliant. Over the next five years, I started searching for links between research based therapeutic techniques and these strategies that have been so effective in my everyday life and the lives of my client's as evidenced by "sensory well being". Together with a Speech and Language Pathologist we created a comprehensive and well-rounded complementary approach to treating all children with exceptionalities, the Energy Interventions Education Program. This was created to share this knowledge with all those willing to learn and open their lives to the limitless possibilities of healing for themselves and their families.I wanted to bring this knowledge to a greater audience and started FTC Kids Empowerment Center in Little Falls. It is a 7000 square foot sensory clinic that offer Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Physical Therapy to the greater New York area.In 2021 I began my second entrepreneurial endeavor by co-founding Wee Woo, a multi-media philanthropic company encouraging heart happy kids.
