With ADAPT, I made my debut in the world of education and skills development. Starting as a social worker and a researcher, I worked intensively with a core team under the Founder and CEO to develop and design Project Implementation Plans and create effective tools to monitor their implementation.In a team, I conducted the action research titled "Deconstructing Work-Preparedness among Adult Disabled Youth Towards Employment" by providing in-depth literature reviews and conducting, transcribing and analysing Interviews with about 70 participants. Created workshop content in the form of modules and undertook the training and delivery of the workshops with the end goal of raising awareness and improving the empowerment of persons with disabilities and the people surrounding them in the ecosystem.Went ahead to manage 4 major projects for ADAPT as an assistant to the CEO, maintaining communications with the donors, writing and editing reports for various projects in compliance and alignment with ADAPT's partnership with their donors.Maintenance and updating of ADAPT's social media networks and engaging in building online communities while tracking the progress of ADAPT's online presence and interaction.Represented ADAPT in various community conferences and workshops, created newsletters and snippets for circulation with stakeholders,Delivered lectures on gender and disability to international students and tutored interns.
