-Maintain tutoring hours and serve as a model, professional tutor for others-Positively and professionally represent MT2C at all times-Represent MT2C during marketing/outreach events. For example, Welcome Week, CRUISE, class visits. -Maintain model communication with all MT2C personnel-Welcome, orient, and support new tutors: Provide a tour of tutoring spaces, and assist with online interfaces (PeopleSoft/NetTutor/MYWC) as directed-Support faculty liaisons as requested-Regularly meet with other mentor tutors-Communicate with faculty liaisons and peer leadership team representatives regarding the needs of the tutoring program-Become more knowledgeable about pertinent campus student support services-Consistently participate in professional learning opportunities and encourage other tutors to participate-Focus on deepening tutoring knowledge and tutoring strategies-Dive deeper into the Learning Apprenticeship Framework (LAF) and purposefully incorporate the LAF into tutoring sessions-Develop Mentor/Leadership Persona-Provide consistent and ongoing contact with mentees-Co-Present at least one workshop per year regarding best practices in tutor training-Follow a timeline of events to support mentee development-Other duties as assigned

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor or manager, provide academic tutoring services to a variety of individuals and groups and; implement tutorial programs that guide and assist students with homework, problem solving, report writing, and test preparation; provide proactive and ongoing student retention services to students needing assistance.In the Classroom Tutoring (CT) Program, tutors are appointed to classes that have high retention rates. As a result, the tutors are then imbedded into the learning environment of the students and are readily available to assist students who are in need of help. As a CT, I carry the responsibility of clarifying any topics and/or concepts that students may have found a little confusing. Additionally, after every class I hold a CT session for about an hour. As a chemistry class tutor, I try to incorporate relatable examples to the concepts discussed in class, because I understand that some students may find some of the concepts in chemistry bewildering and that they may already have a negative disposition towards the discipline.Duties include, but are not limited to: -Provide academic tutoring to a variety of individuals and groups. -Provide guidance and assistance to students requiring tutorial services. -Evaluate student needs and develop appropriate course of action. -Develop and maintain a variety of resource materials -Provide clerical support to staff as needed.

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor or manager, provide instructional assistance to students and instructors in an instructional environment; independently perform a wide variety of technical and clerical duties.
