About Brittany Rainey
I wrote my first novel in 5th grade.It was the quality you’d expect from a middle schooler, but it ignited my passion for writing, and I’ve been hooked ever since. My love of writing inspired me to enroll at Oregon State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in Writing and also Communication. Previously, I graduated with an Associate of Arts from Linn-Benton Community College in 2018 and will obtain two Associate of Science degrees from there in 2023.When I’m not writing, reading, or researching, I’m running and promoting my small online businesses. My goal is to grow them into self-sustaining businesses with physical and online storefronts, 15+ employees, and a substantial customer base. Transforming my side hustle into a full-time job would be a dream come true!I would love to be able to hone my craft and use my communication and writing skills in a welcoming environment. I am actively looking for opportunities for civic engagement, personal growth, and impactful work. Pairing my skills as an effective writer and communicator with an entrepreneurial spirit makes me the ideal candidate for careers in many sectors.
