I offer counseling services for children (ages 6+), adolescents and adults, parenting support and education, as well as educational consulting services for parents in need of assistance in navigating the IEP and/or 504 processes.

• Monitor all Individualized Education Plan Meetings for compliance to all state and federal guidelines and proper documentation• Provide individual and group counseling as needed in addition to crisis intervention, assessment and support• Act as liaison to all stakeholders, including parents, community members, district staff, and local businesses• Fundraise and coordinate all school-based programs for families in need• Deliver professional development, relay district updates, and offer support to all staff on policies and procedures• Create and deliver or support staff in utilizing social emotional curriculum designed for the needs of the school and individual grade levels

• Coordinate and facilitate approximately 40+ district-level parent involvement workshops on a variety of topics geared for families of children attending Title 1 schools • Maintain and operate the district’s Parent Resource Center, which includes monitoring of materials usage as well as ordering manipulatives and resources for Pre-K through 8th grade students • Completing the district Parent Involvement Plan and monitoring the PIP’s for all 23 Title 1 schools • Complete site visits at all schools to assist in monitoring the school’s Title 1 budgets as well as to ensure the PIP is being met appropriately • Plan and coordinate the district Title 1 Family Engagement Conference, which includes parent break-out sessions, student workshops and childcare, keynote speaker, community information fair, etc.

• Facilitate weekly individual counseling, psychoeducational groups for students K-5, and provide crisis intervention and assessment as needed• Ensure all outside counseling providers have appropriate credentials, paperwork, etc. in order to maintain security and confidentiality for all students • Act as the liaison between counselors, teachers, parents and agencies that are providing resources for students in addition to tracking effectiveness of services

• Instruct 100+ students on psychological principles utilizing lecture-based and web-based formats • Conduct 4-hour lectures 2-3 times a week in order to facilitate accelerated learning requirements • Design lecture slides and activities to appeal to multi-sensory learners • Maintain virtual office hours to meet the needs of distant learners • Develop curriculum based on current research in the fields of psychology and communication • Create supplemental instructional components such as podcasts, films, pdf documents and audio files • Conduct student meetings through individual and group format to address student concerns

• Intake Specialist for general hospital admission as well as both the Autism Spectrum Disorder and the • Eating Disorder Units• Facilitate groups for women and adolescent girls on the Eating Disorder Unit • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and confer with psychiatrist on diagnosis and to determine appropriate treatment level • Work with insurance companies for pre-certification of admissions • Assess and admit both voluntary and involuntary (Baker Act) clients
