Rainer Blasczyk, MD, is Full Professor and director of the Institute of Transfusion Medicine and Transplant Engineering (ITT) at Hannover Medical School since 1998. He is a key opinion leader in immunogenetics and pioneering genetic organ engineering to prevent transplant rejection.
