Curiosity and people are my primary drivers.I always tried to expand my knowledge in various and what it sometimes feels unrelated fields (e.g. sports marketing and statistics). I did this because I thought that an experienced manager should not only be an expert in his area of responsibility but needs to grow and to look beyond the current job tasks. Next to broad project management expertise, there is a deep interest in understanding how sports sponsorship work and what makes them successful, but also look at the new challenges that come to all businesses with the emergence of artificial intelligence. Building and sustaining high performing teams and maneuvering on C-level of a DAX 30 company are the additional competencies that I could curate over the 10+ years’ work experience in an international setting. Change is not a challenge for me, as we face it regularly and it is more to be seen as a way of breaking old structures and come up with new, value-creating ideas.
