In August 2024 I started my new venture Vertiflier - to develop and build eVTOL passenger aircrafts and UAVs. The company is built on the belief that the future of urban and regional passenger traffic is in emission-free and fast air transportation, development of autonomous electric and hybrid eVTOL technologies is the key to the transformation, and Vertiflier will be one of the key drivers of this transformation.In 2020 I cofounded Leadfinder - a B2B lead generation agency. The idea grew out of our personal sales experience and the hurdles one has to overcome when acquiring B2B customers, especially when starting up or entering new markets. Before Leadfinder I built the talent search engine Skillific. It was a complex challenge of setting a vision, building an exceptional, technologically and intellectually challenging product, building and reorganising teams of technical and business skills, fundraising, sales and marketing and then doing everything all over again.I've been active in different leadership roles throughout my career. From a specialist and an engineer to middle manager, senior manager and a founder. Working in Mainor Group, Skillific, Leadfinder, and Ampwise has given me priceless leadership and hands-on execution experiences.Mainor was a very diverse group of companies and I had the unique opportunity to lead that ship through global economic downturn in 2008-2012. My work in Mainor included closing one of the biggest real estate M&A transactions in the history of the real estate market in Estonia, which resulted in founding of Technopolis Ülemiste and Mainor Ülemiste in 2010, the two development companies comprising one of the most innovative and influential commercial real estate businesses in the Baltics - Ülemiste City.Before Mainor I helped develop Estonia’s largest sweets production Kalev Chocolate Factory (part of Orkla Group now) according to lean manufacturing principles.During my 10 years (1996-2005) at ABB I helped double the size of the Keila electrical switchgear factory and was part of the small management team that built the world’s largest wind turbine generator factory in Jüri, Estonia.I'm a persistent and goal-oriented person. My competencies include excellent communication, international negotiation and co-operation, international and remote team leadership, strategy development and change management. I can see the „broad picture “, am a quick thinker, highly analytical and good with numbers. I have high professional commitment towards any company and project I have the privilege to be involved in.
