The project comprises the construction of 2 villa types , Soldier Villas and Officer Villas using precast panels produced at site by Salini Saudi Arabia Ltd. The panels are duly insulated to counter extreme hot summers that last for six to seven months. The scope of works also includes infrastructure works comprising of roads more than 250 kilometers, pathways and allied utilities both, over and underground. The project also includes public service buildings, mosques, markets, schools, public parks and recreational areas.Secondary services like sewage and water treatment plant are also part of the project to recycle wastewater for irrigation purpose. The terminal will be able to handle double-deck A 380 and includes a baggage handling system with nearly 60 km of belts.
