• Provide update/response on RMA units FA findings with the customer, Filed PSG, Design Engineering and Manufacturing Support Group.• Coordinate with product support and repair operations including upgrade and repair to comply with Artesyn product specification for customers at different regions.• Set work objectives and priorities by read and answering emails coming from the customers, field Application Engineering, Corporate Quality Assurance Engineers, and other Failure Analysis Centers. This is to determine what should be the top priority in developing workload and should there be more critical issues, prioritize them over the outstanding less important Return Authorization (RMA). Trending issues monitoring.• Conduct initial verification for the newly received power supply units from customer Return Material Authorization (RMA) on bench test and Automated Test Equipment (ATE).• Generate reports regarding preliminary failure analysis result in a short period of time to the customer web site Raw Material Authorization Tracking System (RMATS).• Conduct evaluation for the power supply that has a critical problem or as customer requested root cause analysis.• Make sure all top failure contributors and current critical issues are covered by CAR (Corrective Action Report) and responded by the concerned group.

Lead a team of one FA Engineer, four Technician, and eight Inspector.Manage resources and distribute work within the team. Monitor group's day to day activities and point of contact in case of issues.

• Lead a team of 1 Engineer, 2 Technician, and 5 operators.• Monitor group's day to day activities and act as point of contact in case of quality issues in In-process.• Perform failure analysis of return HDD and SSD products to minimize warranty cost, minimise material scrap ratio and improve yield.• Evaluate electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine root cause of failure.• Analyze failure reports and recommend corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems.• Support new process, product transfer and start-up.• Incorporate automation and improvement of failure analysis process.• Ensure materials and failure analysis capabilities required to support advanced process technology and product development are in place.• Perform physical analysis techniques or non destructive test like X-ray, scanning acoustic microscopy, and optical microscopy.• Perform material analysis using SEM/EDX.• Define and review analytical equipment for both production and development.• Complete sample analysis for equipment and process qualifications.• Develop formal failure analysis report data and findings of complaint and other groups after analysis completion.• Maintain and oversee calibration of analysis equipment.
