While working as a channel sales consultant and education sales representative at Oracle University, Oracle's education business department, I experienced both direct field sales and channel sales. As a channel sales manager, my role was to recruit and educate partners, build GTM(go-to-market) plans, and implement these plans to achieve common performance goals in cooperation with Alliance and Channel team. I managed 8~9 partners including Multicampus, a subsidiary company of Samsung conglomerate, and sold training program through these partners. I also worked as a field sales representative to sell Oracle’s cloud and on-premise training to enterprise customers and public sectors. During my time at Oracle, I developed strong sales and partner business capabilities and recorded excellent track record. When working for the Electronic Times, I worked as a team manager in the IT education business department. I developed and provided various kinds of training and education programs for B2B and B2G customers. GSP(Government Sponsored Program) projects accounted for the largest portion of sales among the projects I had carried out. I had to coordinate the complex interests of various stakeholders such as government, universities, hiring companies, instructors, and trainees, while running technical education programs for job seekers. I also worked with various partners such as subject matter experts, content providers, hardware providers, etc. to build educational businesses. In particular, I rolled out AWS paid training programs for the first time in Korea in partnering with AWS Korea. During this time, I recorded 58.7% of CAGR(compound annual growth rate) during 4 years($ 0.4M to $ 1.6M)I started my career in IT services field and had gained extensive work experience and skills such as technical sales, business development and SI(System Integration) project management. Working as a project manager of public SI projects for 3~4 years, I engaged with senior government officials to meet my customers expectations and solve complex issues on project requirements. And I contributed to the company with more than $ 1M of sales every year.
