I am a Tenured Associate Professor at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech). Aside from teaching and research, I am leading the Cyber Security MSc program (2-year international program). I am also available for consultation on cyber conflict and cyber security matters.During 2008-2012 I was a scientist / senior analyst with the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, Estonia. While there, I focused on alternative setups of cyber forces and national cyber security topics. I also had the privilege to serve as a technology expert for the Tallinn Manual on the International Law Applicable to Cyber Warfare.I am a signal officer by training and have led and trained soldiers during my active duty service.
