My name is Raichel Echeverria and I am enrolled at the School of Arts & Sciences at Rutgers University. I am pursuing a BA degree in Biology, concentrating on Neurobiology. I aspire to help others as a doctor and reform our healthcare system! Always looking for clinical and research experience within neurology and related skills!Over the years, I have experienced what it is like to work with clients and a team in fast-paced environments. My dessert finisher/ barista position at Cheesecake Factory was a humbling experience as a high school student trying to make ends meet. A takeaway from this was learning how everyone in the restaurant relied on each other to make operations run as smoothly as possible, ultimately leading to guest satisfaction. It was also amazing to hear the stories of other team members, and we relied on each other for support to get through the shift. As a receptionist at State Farm, I managed or directed intel and organized documentation to meet the needs of both clients and my Sales Team. If there is anything I learned, it is necessary to remind yourself that you are always learning, continually improving and that it is okay to ask for help. I am an active member of the Minority Association of Premed Students and HOSA - Future Health Professionals. I have earned an Excel proficiency certification through the Rutgers Business Association of Supply Expertise. This course serves as a comprehensive overview of the industry's most relevant excel skills while also providing real-world applications to strengthen the understanding and retention of these skills. This year I hope to complete an internship that will provide real-life experience and essential skills in several areas.
Listed skills include Leadership, Microsoft Office, Management, Research, and 1 others.
