Responsible for finalizing scope of work, technical specifications, design packages, conceptual drawings, detailed engineering and design of 69 kV through 380 kV transmission lines, design of lattice steel structures, preparation/ finalizing plan and profile drawings, staking sheets, stringing charts, hardware assembly details, grounding, bonding, OPGW routing and layout in duct banks, underground power transmission, cabling, project proposals and project management.

Responsible for project management, engineering and design of transmission, distribution and substation projects and underground transmission systems. Responsibilities included project proposals, negotiations, interaction with clients, construction contractors, vendors, and coordination of design activities of various disciplines of engineering. Review of Saudi Electric Company Engineering Standards. Services an expert to EPCON (an Engineering Procurement and Construction joint venture between Bechtel and Parsons in Saudi Arabia) for design of 380 kV double circuit lattice steel towers and full scale testing of towers in Italy and Romania.

Over 25 years excellent experience in engineering and design of transmission line projects from 33 kV to 400 kV A/C, ± 500 kV HVDC and experience in 800 kV A/C. Responsible for preparation of technical specifications, engineering and design of transmission line projects at 66 kV to 400 kV A/C, and a few ± 500 kV HVDC lines and for full scale testing of transmission towers and line materials. Work on 800 kV projects started in India in 1989, and I was one of the member of the team for finalizing design parameters and specifications for line materials and towers. I was one of the members of the committee for finalizing Indian Standards and Design Manuals.

Responsible for production, production planning and control, maintenance of electrical and mechanical machines and equipment in steel and battery manufacturing facilities.
