Optimal Projekt provides architectural design, planning and project management services to businesses and individuals. Optimal has been one of the most fun start-ups I have been involved in due to its amazingly co-operative and friendly core team. Uplink develops tailored software solutions for businesses. My responsibilities included managing a team of programmers and designers to create a digital archiving software for Estonian branch of the international logistics company DHL. This solution helped DHL Estonia to eliminate most of their paper based documents and replace it with digital archiving and indexing system that was accessible from all over the world via internet. The improved version of the archiving software was later utilized also by Credit and Export Guarantee Fund KredEx.

"ESCAPE" was one of the biggest computer entertainment centres in Baltic States with 50 pay-per-use gaming computers and lightning fast internet connection. My responsibilities included business planning, raising financing and implementing the whole concept. "ESCAPE" quickly became the new standard in the Estonian online and LAN computer gaming scene. It was where the gaming enthusiasts met for casual multiplayer gaming experience and competed head-to-head in nation wide gaming championships. In 2002, Samsung Electronics selected “ESCAPE” to host and organize their local preliminary rounds of the World Cyber Games. "ESCAPE" taught me a great deal about the dynamics of computer gaming business.
