LHV Pension Funds are one of the most successful pension funds in Estonia. My role in the company is to lead funds the real estate investments. I am responsible for acquiring new assets, leasing out rental premises, organizing renovations and expansions and other everyday activities. I also stand for our real estate portfolio sustainability policy.Currently our portfolio consists of three office buildings, one industrial building, three stockoffice buildings and 400+ rental apartments in Tallinn and Riga. We are actively looking for new real estate investment opportunities in Tallinn. We are interested in investing into A and B+class office buildings, logistic centers, retail buildings and rental apartment buildings.

Arco Vara is an international real estate group operating mainly in Estonia and Bulgaria. The group’s parent company, Arco Vara AS was established in Estonia in 1992 and has been listed on Nasdaq Tallinn stock exchange since 2007.The main activity of Arco Vara is the development of complete living environments and related commercial real estate. In addition, the group earns license fees from agreements with real estate agencies offering real estate brokerage and valuation services under its trade marks in Estonia, Latvia and Bulgaria.My role in Arco Vara AS Supervisory Board was to represent LHV Pension Funds who were holding 14% of the company shares. My role in Supervisory Board ended due to sale of the shares.

Kapitel AS is one of the Baltic states’ leading real estate developers and largest private sector real estate holding companies. The main area of activity for the company is developing commercial real estate in the roles of developer, investor and property manager. The focus lies on long-term real estate investments: commercial properties, hotels, office buildings and industrial real estate.As a project manager I was responsible for development process of biggest development project in company history - 77 000 m2 sized exclusive multifunctional real estate complex ARTER, what consists of A-class office premises, apartment hotel, restaurants, sports club, mini-SPA, conference facilities etc. I worked out complex concept, organized international architectural competition, leaded the design process and leaded negotiations with anchor tenants.

In 2009 Swedbank established a real estate company Ektornet to handle distressed real estate cases during the financial crisis period. Company core business was to acquire, manage and sell real estate in residential, retail, office and industrial segments.As of 2010 I was working in Ektornet as a project manager of investment properties. As a project manager I was responsible for a real estate portfolio worth ca 25 million euros. The portfolio I managed consisted primarily of commercial real estate projects and land plots with high development potential. Working for Ektornet had, in a short period of time, given me a thoroughgoing overview of the functioning of a real estate investment portfolio. My duties in the starting years of the company were choosing suitable assets for investment, compiling asset strategic plan and presenting it to an international committee as well as obtaining assets. After acquisition my duties involved managing the assets, communicating with external cooperation partners as well as with lessees, contract execution, optimising the rate of return of assets and adding additional value to the assets.

My work experience in real estate business dates back to 2006 when I began working as a real estate appraiser. That position gave me a solid base in real estate and a comprehensive overview of the inner workings of the real estate market, the local market trends and the basics of real estate value calculation. Over these 4 years working in real estate I carried out around 1 500 expert valuation reports of which 1/3 were valuations of commercial real estate and 2/3 were valuations of residential real estate.
