Investigation of the Scouring around a Military Ground Mine on the Seafloor in Wave Flow:Used multiphase CFD modelling to conduct a thorough investigation of the scouring effects surrounding a British AMk1-4 ground mine.Analyzed sediment movement and flow patterns by simulating wave-induced flow on the seabed using an oscillating flow based on linear wave theory.Examined the effects on partially buried unexploded ordnance (UXO) and abandoned military munitions (DMM) of abrasive particle flow, movement brought on by stormy waves, and ageing.Assessed the risks posed by UXO and DMM to economic activities, human safety, and marine ecosystems, emphasizing the importance of understanding scouring dynamics to ensure maritime environmental safety.
