Chartered Accountant & LLB qualified in 1989, have worked in diverse sectors starting with manufacturing (Steel contractors, textiles) and moving into service sectors (news broadcasting, distribution ,entertainment & films). Have experience of working with Indian companies managed by Promoters and also with professionally managed multinationals. Over last 20 years, I have worked very closely with CEO/MD of the organization, understanding different aspects of the business dynamics of various industries and competition. Starting my career as finance professional, learned practical handling of assignments like debt raising, finalization of accounts, direct and indirect tax planning, setting systems and processes, generating MIS and analyzing, I grew into a role of CFO . Since then, in various assignments have worked closely with business heads & other functional heads, have looked after various other functions directly or indirectly like commercials, legal, marketing, revenue, administration etc and have gained knowledge and experience in cross functional areas.
