Managing from RM indent to Material delivery on time

Managing project activities and handling project progress in close coordination with contractors & consultants and ensuring on time deliverables.Allocation of jobs to various sub-contractors, preparation of monthly production plan based on targets.Develop, organize, manage and evaluate the sub-contractor production functions.Build better co-ordination between Planning dept. – Machine dept. - Production dept. – Quality dept. about raw materials, planning and production scheduling of jobs.Successfully managing a team of 150 team members to deliver structural fabrication projects on time. Familiar to work under quality management system. Maintain record for receiving drawings and Planning of production schedules, timely tracing material requirement and process according to priority for timely dispatch. Manage, track and control receipt of material; and monitor & reconcile material issued.Maintaining documents using SAP for accurate monitoring.Job allocation to manpower according to skill, quality and nature of job.Conducting safety meetings / tool box talks at shop-floors.Develop and monitor improvements by tracking progress against targets and daily production reports.Assist to drive lean manufacturing process. This includes working with Operations leadership team to resolve performance gap. Provide input to plan, manage and achieve best output from available resources. Prepare MIS reports and present necessary presentations according to requirement. Leading & motivating workforce and imparting continuous on-job training for achieving operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Production planning for CNC machines – MESSER, CORIMPEX, FICEP, TIPO and Conventional Face Milling machines.Programming for generating nesting files using Programming software.Ensure proper operation of machines with minimum breakdowns.Conducting trainings for operators and associates for smooth and increased productivity / efficiency of machines and manpower.Planning and visual inspection of raw material & allocating manpower in machine shop.Cutting, Welding & Drilling Process - Consumables & Tools. Conducting trials on related machine consumable items, tools & tackles.Planning and scheduling preventive maintenance of machines with Maintenance Department team.Familiar with using SAP – MM Module (Store indent, PR, PO, WO etc.)Implementing quality standards like 5S, Kaizen, etc.Problem-solving activities in co-ordination with other departments.

Received training to operate oxy-fuel and plasma cutting machines.Received training in generating files using nesting software and input in CNC Machine.Received training on studying part drawings (Demag Hydraulic excavators, Wagons like BOXN, BCNHL, BTPN etc. and EMU train).Received training on PPE equipments and practice safety procedures in industry.
