As the Operations Coordinator at A.B.S. Fasteners, I oversaw all aspects of the design, manufacturing, and dispatch of fasteners. I maintained strong relationships with customers by communicating with them regularly for updates before and after the delivery of goods to enhance product quality and customer relations.I collaborated with various departments, vendors, and shippers to coordinate manufacturing, facilitate production planning and scheduling, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. I planned expenses and attained targets while keeping budgetary constraints in mind.In my role, I ensured that product quality met customer requirements and organizational standards, regularly communicating with customers regarding their order status and quality issues. I took corrective actions based on their feedback, utilizing tools like 8D and DMAIC for problem-solving. I also analyzed cycle time and developed a spaghetti diagram to decrease non-value-added activities.To increase throughput, I promoted Kaizen activities and adopted the use of PDCA and 5S for improving warehouse and tool room activities. I developed standard work charts for work studies, facilitated the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow charts, and trained new hires. I also conducted process flow development and improvement activities.Overall, my experience as an Operations Coordinator has equipped me with strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, which I believe will be an asset to any organization.

As an Intern, I provided support to the manufacturing engineers and quality engineers in day-to-day operations at the plant. I analyzed the manufacturing process and procedures and recommended strategic solutions to maximize productivity and minimize costs.To identify key process improvements, I assisted in testing and analysis, created test plans, and verified and validated proposed improvements for functionality, reliability, quality, and ease of manufacture.
