Reporting to the Regional Head of Audit, with dotted line into the Global IT Audit Director, as an IT Audit Manager, I play a key role in helping to deliver the audit plan and managing specific projects across the global team. I have helped to shape the department and made a positive impact to the control environment within the UK&I, EMEA and APAC regions of Experian. I am also involved in a number of third part (supplier based audits that include reviewing contractual obligation between parties and ensuring processes are robust to ensure appropriate supplier performance. I have performed a variety of audits covering both business and IT (applications and infrastructure). This includes reviewing Mainframe, Unix, Windows and SAP systems. I have considerable experience of working with IT process audits such as vulnerability management and change management and reviewed internal processes against ISO27001 standards. Types of audits include credit bureaus, post- acquisition audits and third party audits cover a number of suppliers in the UK and overseas. More recently there has been a strong focus on covering systems and processes with a FCA focus.
