The company that employed me (TransMetro) was based in San Francisco and I was hired as part of a joint effort between itself and Marin County. I went from establishment to establishment in Marin County making business owners aware of a free transportation program that the company and county were offering to them. At the time, the program was basically a more localised version of UBER for Marin County specifically (This was before Uber became more widespread). The position itself required me to interact with many Business Owners in a professional manner and market the program to them. This usually required focusing on different aspects of said program in order to properly sell it to the different types of people running businesses in the area.
