Worked in the Atmosphere and Energy Research Group (AERG), on the turbulence phenomena related to the wind turbine i.e., wind turbine added wake and turbulent kinetic energy (TKE). I have also worked on the new National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) large eddy simulation (LES) solver based on the adaptive mesh refinement, AMR-Wind, and simulated different atmospheric stabilities (stable, unstable, and neutral) for the single turbine (i.e., IEA scaled 1.7, 2.5, 2.8, 5 and 10 MW mimicked by an actuator disk model by the OpenFAST interface coupled with AMR-Wind) cases, and analyze wakes and added tke by that.
