The project ‘Currency exchange service’ showcases various microservices architectural patterns, including inter-microservice communication, centralized configuration management, dynamic scaling, API gateway establishment, distributed tracing, and fault tolerance.• Developed microservices using Spring Boot and published them as RESTful APIs to various features of the application.• Utilized Java 8 features such as lambda expressions, parallel operations on collections, and the new Date TimeAPI for effective sorting mechanisms and improved code efficiency.• Involved in application development using various Spring modules including Spring Boot, Spring ORM, and Spring Aspect.
