EQUINIX DATA CENTER AT DX1 PRODUCTION CITY. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-1.In depth knowledge of Diesel Generator, SMDB, UPS, ATS, MV Switchgear, ACB, DB, CRAH units, Rectifiers, Chillers, FAHU, AHU, FCU etc. 2.Ability to perform the power up, power deinstallation and circuit load test as per the customer requirements. 3.Ability to perform maintenance of emergency lighting system, ACS system, MFACP,FECP, FCS,WLDS,FLDS and CCTV. 4.Manage and track cooling capacity, temperatures, and efficiency throughout the Data canters. 5.Manage and track electrical capacity, UPS loads, customer consumption and breaker availability.6.Plan physical environment installs including capacity expansions, system upgrades, and new CRAC, In Row cooling, UPS, distribution panels, etc. 7.Responsible to lead the troubleshooting process and repairs in case of events or equipment failure. 8.Oversee and monitor all facilities record keeping and update dashboards related to this field of work. 9.Review and approve all facilities maintenance tasks/MOPS when required as part of change management system. 10.To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced within the department and among sub-contractors and third parties working in Equinix controlled premises/systems. 11.Carry out PPM (planned preventive maintenance) routines as per the schedule & fill up checklists, maintain various logs, (e.g. equipment breakdown/incident tracker, history card etc.). 12.To ability to operate BMS (ASCENT COMPASS BY ALERTON),EQUINIX IBX SMART VIEW,BCM and CENTER SCAPE BY RF CODE. 13.Ability to replace chiller condenser coil Fan motor and identifying alarm and reset.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:-1.IPS01 and IPS02 operational and monitoring work such as panel exhaust fan fault, All alarm issues VFD and common fault etc. 2.Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, panel, and fuse enclosures. 3.To make a periodical preventive maintenance and check out schedule and make sure it’s profitable. 4.Attend breakdowns. 5.Troubleshot the faults. 6.Conduct preventive maintenance. Coordinate with other departments. 7.The ability to raise and close the reactive work order. 8.The ability to trigger panel alarm. 9.cut, thread,bend,assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings. 10.Splice, joint and connect wire to from circuit.  11.Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architecture drawings, specifications and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts. 12.Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. 13.The ability to use distinguish colors to work with color-coded wiring and able to do corrective maintenance. 14.The ability to do electrical isolation and put the LOTO. 15.Install electrical equipment such as air-conditioning, heating, or ignition systems and component such as generator brushes and commutators, using hand tools. 16.Reassemble and test equipment after repairs.
