What began as a manufacturing firm exporting Carpets & Rugs from India, to the markets of US & Europe, has now expanded into the ‘Kirna Zabête Design Studio’ where we style and furnish, Hotels, Restaurants and Homes. The 80’s saw us going deep into the heartland of India, into the company of local weavers, setting up our own artisanal manufacturing facilities. Here we perfected Designs that helped us carve a niche in the International markets, exporting our products to all major, global, Departmental Stores & Specialty Retail chains.The 90’s helped us re-orient our vision – from adorning Floors, to “dressing” every type of surface. The ‘Kirna Zabête’ encompassed Floors, Windows, Furniture and more. We launched our own retail store in India, bridging the gap between the rich history of Colour, Design, Patterns and Fabrics that the country had sometimes forgotten, to the Homes of the modern Indian Consumer and the burgeoning industries of Hotels & Restaurants.Since the turn of the millennium, Kirna Zabête has effectively cemented its credentials as a place where Home-owners, Hoteliers, Interior Decorators, Architects or even Film Set Designers find what they are looking for.
