Worked on IG-XL Software which run on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and used to test digital as well as analog devices. IG-XL is based on a component-based architecture and leverages an application component – Microsoft Excel - to build a product that is rich in features and easy to maintain. Data Tool (Excel Addin) is a program that operates under Microsoft Excel. An Excel workbook holds the programming information for a single program or for a family of related programs. The types of information required to program the tester are stored in a number of Excel sheets in the workbook. The workbook encapsulates all of the information necessary for program execution. At HCL, IDC (India design software) is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the features of the IG-XL Software.Duties and Responsibilities• Maintain and enhancing the features of the IG-XL Software. • Developed Language Performance Maintenance tool in C#. This is to measure the performance of the each method and properties present in the IGXL component• Developed Interop to communicate IGXL component with .net assembly.
