Dent Education promotes equity by empowering under-resourced youth to discover and develop their innate creative potential to shape the world around them. Our hands-on curriculum is based on three pillars: design thinking, making, and entrepreneurship. Through the experience of community engagement, learning from failure, iterating, and eventually building real solutions, students realize their capacity to create real change and make a dent in the universe.

San Francisco Bay Area

Istanbul, Turkey

Built Design Thinking programs for Istanbul's leading creativity hub. Established internal “Design Thinking Institute”, designed curriculum for 14-week university course that is currently being taught, developed offerings of three other Design Thinking programs.

China, South Korea, Malaysia

Conducted workshops on Design Thinking and social entrepreneurship, delivered TED-style talks, and held career mentoring sessions with over 2,000 students and young professionals in over ten cities across Asia.

Hubli Area, India

Designed and facilitated workshop on Design Thinking, fabrication (rapid prototyping, Arduino, 3D printing), and entrepreneurship for 25 engineering students. Five teams created real products and business plans, one team graduated their project into an operational startup, several other students went on to otherwise become entrepreneurs.

Gujarat, India

Introduced Embrace infant warmer to new state market (Gujarat), led four-person sales team, sold over 500 units to private, government, and NGO hospitals.

Bangalore, India

- Co-invented and led development of Embrace infant warmer through design, manufacturing, and up to market release. Product has since impacted and saved the lives of over 250,000 babies across 20+ developing countries.- Collaborated with over twenty suppliers and manufacturers in India, USA, and China and managed global supply chain of 200+ components.- Led efforts to obtain highest international quality certification for medical devices (ISO:13485 and CE mark).

Sunnyvale, California

- Developed protocols and fixtures to test durability of neurovascular catheter tip.- Re-designed the catheter tip to maximize efficacy and reduce damage of catheter during clot lysis.
