Materials Management/Procurement Planning Accountable for meeting customer orders by designing, implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with establishing the quality & quantity limits.  Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet the production targets.  Developing sound sourcing strategies to minimize Total Cost of Acquisition of direct materials; developing the alternate source of procuring and establishing the process. Directing the development and implementation of key purchase / procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with production requirements. Formulating budgets for timely procurement of various critical components.
