Working closely with internal sales and contracts administration teams and external IT specialist partners to ensure contracts were in place.* Helped to drive down costs by being part of a team which regularly looked into what equipment could be taken in-house or finding alternative solutions instead of subcontracting out equipment whilst adhering to the contractual obligations to the customer.* Logging calls and managing the call queue and arranging engineers’ visits to various sites both nationally and internationally, both in-hours and out-of-hours.* Prior to the above role, was supervisor to the Procurement team, which consisted of a team of 4 buyers, before being moved to overseeing the Subcontract team once that expanded into a full time role. This included training and motivating the team and ongoing guidance, mentoring and instilling “first time right” ethos. Also liaised and built relationships with suppliers in order to gain good negotiation on prices for parts and thus saving the company money.* Responsible for the Compaq/HP warranty program and adhered to the strict processes set by the manufacture in order to maintain the warranty accreditation. * Key player for the annual end of financial year stock takes, which also included inventory held by the field engineers, and customer sites where we would hold on-site stock as part of the agreement with the end-user.* Authorised validity of new potential support agreements.* Part of the Out of Hours team, where I was one of the On-Call Stores personnel that arranged the sourcing and delivery of parts to locations as agreed with the OOH engineer. Role included being available around the clock and ensure if the parts requested weren’t available, then endeavour to find alternative solutions to ensure disruption to customer was kept to the bare minimum.
