I interact and work with talented, enthusiastic and dedicated doctors of Vasan eye care hospitals. Doctors in practice often need that one word of guidance, reassurance and some times a need to restrain. Being a doctor myself with 2 decades of experience and having walked those steps,I fill this need of my colleagues. Results,needless to say,are very gratifying…..but,there is a lot that can be done.

Shekar Nethralaya which started as a small eye clinic in 1999,grew to be a super speciality eye hospital in Bangalore winning the confidence of the people for the quality of care and high standards of practice. Health care IT implementation, CRM , Patient Engagement ,Transparent and customer friendly practices were the heart of Shekar Nethralaya. In 2012,Shekar Nethralaya merged with Vasan eye care hospitals retaining and improving the core values of care,quality and technology for the benefit of the patients. I, myself, found Vasan Eye care Hospitals to be a perfect match to share my experience of health care industry and use my abilities to build a team and bring in best practices. My passion to have Health care IT implementation to enable quality,efficiency,accountability and above all scalability is giving me an opportunity in my present role as Head of Medical Strategy at Vasan eye care hospitals.

The experience at IIMB was unique. Many,wondered to see a skilled surgeon spending time in management school. This was one year programme where the ave experience of fellow batch mate was 19 yrs!.It was really an Advanced Management Programme.This was one of the best times I have spent in my life. Thanks to IIMB faculty and the programme directorsThe learnings I had, help me in achieving my dream of building an excellent Health care system in India……the journey has just begun
