Postdoctoral ResearcherSimap, Laboratoire De Recherche Sur Les Matériaux, Grenoble Apr 2004 - May 2005I was instrumental in the development and characterisattion of the dissimilar material joining between steel and aluminium metal parts using pseudo laser welding. After optimizing the process parameters, we characterised for the properties including their microstructures and mechanical strength of the joints. We successfully joined these two materials, whose stregth was consistently exeeding the base material strengths. -
