Chartered Accountant with experience of 4 Years in Financial Accounting, Month & Quarter end Closing, Reporting, & Reconciliations, Regulatory Reporting (SEC & FED) of European and US Business of General Electric Company•Month end Closing – I am actively involved in closing process to ensure a clean balance sheet. There are various tasks and checks which me and my team perform before closing like GL Edit Checks, IME Check, DI Check and various re-class related to balance sheet. I do book Reserves and provisions required to be created every Month & Quarter as per US GAAP and IFRS. I represent the WCS on close call with HQ •Balance Sheet Preparation & Analysis – It involves consolidation of numbers for 10 MEs containing 36 Legal Entities where we need to do further analysis in terms of balance explanations and YTD movements with roll-forwards. Balance Sheet size is $20 Billion. •SEC Reporting – After finalizing the Trial balance, first we need to report out the Balance Sheet and Roll forwards to Global Controller of WCS as per 10Q and 10K, after his review we submit the BS Pack to HQ. Apart of Balance Sheet there are 30 OTC schedules which we need to prepare and report out on quarterly basis, my core responsibility is to make sure we submit all schedules meeting timeliness and quality.
