JOB DESCRIPTION:• Responsible to carry out the function of Service Operation Center (SOC) Engineer• To manage customer service problem/network outage as per SOC processes and procedures• To adhere to Service Operation Center (SOC) processes and procedures• To perform escalation as per SOC processes and procedure during service problem/network outages • To perform first level of troubleshooting for service problem/network outages• To manage TPP/MS customers during service/network outages• To do escalation to other Department/unit such as TAC, SM-Region during outages if required• To monitor network and services as per SOC processes and procedures• To prepare Incident Report for TPP/MS customers.RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshoot on switching / PSTN, VOIP, SIP ( Exp : Nokia, Huawei, Siemens, Sonus & Neax). Troubleshoot on transmission network platform (SDH). (Exp: TEJAS, ZTE, Alcatel & Lucent). Perform day to day network/ service surveillance and fault management for TIME’s network product and services. Interface with customers to expedite service recovery as well as to communicate service changes and improvements. As 2nd level support to Customer Service Department for all technical resolution. Responsible for problem/ incident management, tracking of all issues, escalation & reporting.EXPERIENCES GAINED:i. SDH (transmission) troubleshooting, Metro-E over SDH platform, and Multi-site support.ii. Direct knowledge of Tellabs (7100), ZTE (S385 & S200), TEJAS (TJ1410/1460 & 1430), Lucent (Webstar & Compact), and Alcatel (SN160 & SMN1660) equipment – model nameiii. Switching troubleshooting on various equipment ( Nokia, Huawei, Siemens, Sonus & Neax).iv. 1st level troubleshooting for internet via satellite IPSTAR (WebPRO).

- Set up booth & prepare concoction.- Approach and attract new consumers by educate consumers of the product features & benefits.- Give samples & leaflets of the products to consumers.- Push sales, count stock and sales.- Take consumers’ feed back and complete a report for every project done.

• Do the technical work such as crimping cables RJ45 to make straight through cables or crossover cables, patching panels, laying a cable; ie. from VMWARE server(in DC4) to Core Switch(in DC3) in Data Centre.• Prepare documentation of Network Policy and Procedure: Configuration Backup & MBNS AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting).• Do the basic troubleshooting method; ping + cdp.• Prepare the labels of MBNS ­ Internet - Switch Usage; print out by using Panduit Labeller.• Update the network diagram of Data Centre Network Layout Rack by using Microsoft Visio.• To update Cisco network router and switch configurations for security hardening purpose.
