As Co-Founder of M1 Intel, I work alongside my wife and business partner, Nina, to revolutionize how hotel owners and operators manage their sales processes. With a deep-rooted passion for the hospitality industry and over two decades of experience in hotel operations, sales, and technology, we launched M1 Intel to address the unique challenges hotel sales teams face in today’s competitive market.Drawing on our extensive experience as hotel owners and operators, we recognized a significant gap in the tools available for managing B2B and group sales effectively. Many traditional CRMs are designed for B2C, leaving hotel teams to rely on outdated systems that don’t meet their specific needs. To solve this, we developed Matrix SMS (Sales Management System), a platform tailored specifically for the hospitality industry to streamline the sales process, foster collaboration, and give hotels ownership of their sales data.My role involves overseeing product development, guiding the vision for Matrix SMS, and ensuring it provides real, tangible value to our clients. I work closely with our team to innovate and build tools that make hotel sales better, faster, and more efficient. From conceptualizing features to driving adoption and customer success, my focus is on empowering hotel teams to succeed in today’s dynamic landscape.At M1 Intel, our mission is simple: to help hotels thrive by providing smarter, data-driven tools that optimize operations and enhance decision-making. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to shape the future of hotel sales management with Matrix SMS and beyond.

Big things come from humble beginnings.In 2013, we started a revenue management service with only six properties, using excel spreadsheets. By the time we were acquired in 2022 we provided hotel revenue, sales & operational data and services to thousands of hotels on our cloud-based platform.We started a conversation with OTA Insight in late 2021 about how synergistic our companies were. On April 1st, 2022, we closed on a sale of Kriya RevGEN to OTA Insight and I have stayed on as an investor in the combined business. There is still a ton of runway to bring insightful and useful data to hoteliers in the world of revenue management and analytics as well as other segments of the business. More to be seen!
