As the Chief Technology and Information Officer of NHTSA, I spearhead the vision, strategy, execution, and governance of enterprise information technology, enterprise data management, and cybersecurity. During my tenure, I orchestrated a transformation within the IT organization by implementing agile methodologies and a customer-centric service model.To harness the power of data analytics, I established a working group, co-chaired by the Chief Data Officer and Enterprise Architect. The group has defined the enterprise data strategy and has renewed our focus on emerging technologies. I manage the Office of Organizational Policy and Governance that provides agency-wide services for software quality assurance, performance testing and validation, continuous integration and configuration management, enterprise Information Technology strategies, performance excellence, process improvements, service performance management, governance and policies, command watch operations, federal security authorization and compliance, and cyber security investigations. The four divisions of the Office specialize in -ᵒ Continuous Integration Configuration Management (CICM) - provides a robust CICD platform for all Agile development projects based on popular components such as Jenkins, Subversion, Sonar, and Nexusᵒ Software Quality Assurance - provides end-to-end software quality assurance in Agile and DevOps environments including automated and manual functional, regression, performance, and security testingᵒ Cybersecurity - ensures federal security authorization and compliance, cyber security investigations, and 24x7 command watch operations (NOC/SOC)ᵒ Policy, Process, and Performance improvement - provides strategic planning, performance excellence, process improvement, service performance management, and governance for data calls, audits, polices, and standards
