Prior to setting up The CFOO Centre, I was the CFOO of a multinational plastics manufacturer across Africa. I have worked for companies and groups whose turnovers have been from USD 3 million up-to USD 150 million including an East African subsidiary of a FTSE 250 company where I was the Operations Director. I have been instrumental in developing the business, its profitability (from low levels of profitability to very high levels) and increased operational and supply chain efficiencies. I also specialise in financial planning, management and internal control and governance. I graduated in 1995 with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) as a Chartered Certified Accountant of UK (FCCA) and as a Chartered Management Accountant of UK (ACMA – 2003) , as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA -2012). I hold an MBA from the Henley Business School (2007) where my dissertation "Enhancing efficiency and competitive advantage of business organisations using e-business: The case of Kenyan companies" has been considered scholastic work. In early 2018, I completed The AOTS Program on Production Management (Monozukuri) in Tokyo and I completed The Organisation Development International 20 Keys Program in South Africa in 2016. I have undertaken numerous other programs including Scaling Up, Lean Programs and Leadership Development Programs from the Manchester Business School.
