Worked in the 'Residential Design' Engineering team as a Photo voltaic system designer. Responsibilities included: - Carefully review and interpret audit data provided by the surveying team to ensure the project site has no potential hazards with going solar. - Work with CAD and Energy Design to convert the audit data into engineering design, taking into consideration the energy efficiency of the panels, the electrical compatibility and the structural stability. - Create contract documents for the project and create necessary cases for the project to be carried forward by the documents/permitting team. - Throughout the process the projects have to abide by the standards of IBC, IRC, ASCE, NEC and the local Authority Holding Jurisdiction regulations.Designed up to 3.2 MW Residential solar systems. •100% quality work provided and is a part of quality group and highest number of jobs club with zero critical issues. •Design system that follows building code compliances, NEC codes and AHJ regulations.•Develop engineering drawings, construction notes, purchase order and specifications for residential Solar system•Plan and direct every project by communicating with sales and installation team. Prepare BOM for each project.•Expert knowledge of AutoCAD , PV industry standards and NEC ● Designed total of 1.5 MW Power PV systems.● Design code compliant Solar Photovoltaic systems for residential projects using AutoCAD with Energy Design tool and deliverefficient residential solar system.● Assist with the design, development, implementation, analysis of energy efficiency and perform engineering evaluations● Perform conductor, equipment sizing calculations and generate single line and three line PV electrical drawings based on NEC.● Design electrical and structural components of PV systems and work with consultants on preparing plans for permitting.● Provide construction support including detailed layout and construction drawings to installation crew
