Current• Design development for the existing customers, giving them design inputs through cads/ Samples and styling the company’s sell-out with new trends.• Responsible for selecting fabrics, researching and capitalizing on latest fashion trends.• Created color themes, embroidery designs, new silhouettes and flat sketches.• Trend analysis, including styling, fabrics, with the aid of forecasting and travel to high fashion vicinities and international trade fairs.• Handled the tasks of selecting fabrics and production techniques to be used for different products.• Visited textile showrooms to keep up-to-date on the trends of latest fabrics.• Working closely with colleagues as part of a departmental team.• Accompanying buyers on visits to manufacturers to appreciate sampling processes.• Monitoring the entire sampling department, its various stages of sampling.• Proper Co-ordination with factory, Accessories store & Fabric store. • Keeping Check on sampling quality.• Over all Responsibility of Design and Product Development.• Maintaining a proper system & calendar for all the design process and managing the team for better efficiency.• Determining concepts & looks and developing entire range for different buyers keeping in mind international trends• Chasing orders from buyer.
