CurrentI lead strategic initiatives and manage complex projects in healthcare technology. Strategic Planning and Leadership:• Develop forward procurement plans for biomedical device replacement, aligning strategies with organisational goals and regulations.• Implement merit-based processes for new technology acquisition, optimising resource allocation and fostering innovation.• Obtain approval for objective funding forecasting and prioritise allocation for device acquisition.• Provide recommendations for managing device categories within replacement programs and building projects.Management of Statewide Biomedical Asset Procurement Programs:• Successfully deliver annual programs for biomedical technology addition or replacement.• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise acquisition needs and coordinate regional procurement plans.• Offer expert consultation to staff on procurement processes and equipment evaluations.• Lead equipment trialling and evaluation methodologies to drive informed decisions.Specific Project Management:• Provide strategic expertise for integrating biomedical technology into building redevelopment plans.• Initiate and provide approved SABME expertise in development projects.Asset Recording and Maintenance Management Systems:• Oversee implementation of a statewide asset management database, ensuring accurate tracking of biomedical assets.• Develop asset management rules and reporting templates for efficient data organisation.• Provide guidance on equipment grouping and storage to optimise asset management.Technical and Professional Consultancy, Advisory, Teaching, and Research Services:• Offer specialised consultancy on biomedical technology and procurement to various stakeholders.• Participate in teaching programs and research initiatives to enhance knowledge sharing.• Collaborate with industry partners and government agencies to advance healthcare technology.
