Working as Vice President in the Scenario Design team. The team is responsible for developing macroeconomic and climate risk scenarios for bank's stress testing. We scan emerging risks environment, conceptualize and develop narrative for alternative scenarios and forecast macroeconomic and climate risk variables that are needed to run stress testing models within the bank. Present results to relevant committes and forums. The team also produces regular thought leadership publications and present it in various forums.

Worked as a Senior Economist and Global L&H Lead with Swiss Re since March 2008, and managed a team of economists, data scientists and natural catastrophe specialists. During my tenure, I’ve led several research initiatives on a wide range of topics spanning health protection gap, mortality protection gap, climate change, digitalization, machine intelligence, profitability gap, etc. Authored several thought leadership publications including but not limited to Natural Catastrophe sigma, Resilience sigma, Global Economic and Insurance Outlook sigma and World Insurance sigma. Generated deeper insights into protection gap and consumer behavior driving the gap through various thought leadership publications based on primary surveys and consumer research. Published articles in leading insurance journals and magazines, presented in conferences and client events and delivered guest lectures in management colleges and universities in India and abroad. Swiss Re Institute is an in-house research capability, providing primary and secondary research services to Swiss Re business units and its clients. The team also provides management consulting to its clients and supports strategy and planning process. The team closely tracks key developments in the global re/insurance market and produces thought leadership publications, like sigma (the flagship publication of Swiss Re), expertise papers and economic insights.

Worked on both equity and credit research side. Developed sophisticated credit research models to analyze long-term financial performance of companies in various industries. Incorporated projections for all line items. Used various statistical tools like correlation, regression and time-series analysis, sensitivity analysis for all financial covenants. Covered companies in various industries like telecom, oil and gas, real estate, glass containers, etc.Developed equity research model of the US railroad industry. The US railroad industry project involved developing a financial model, projecting various line items for next 4 years using various statistical techniques and management guidance.

Led priority banking division of the branch. Major responsibilities included strengthening banking relationship with existing clients, new business acquisition, formulation and implementation of strategies for business development, mutual fund advisory, portfolio management of HNIs and banking operations.
