I have been elected as a National Examiner from accrediting the Orthopaedic surgeons in Training.

I am a practicing senior consultant Upper-Limb Surgeon.

• Accountable for the revalidation of assigned doctors, liaising with the GMC regarding escalated doctor investigations, crises and complaints and facilitating efficient and effective interaction between doctors and senior management.

• Hold comprehensive operational management responsibility for 64-bed medical and surgical units across two sites. • This includes responsibility for management board leadership, clinical governance and ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures. • Drive optimal client outcomes via ensuring industry-leading standards of service quality, HSE and productivity. • Established a robust governance framework and achieved a 'good' CQC rating. • Maintain exceptional health & safety, including coordinating regular training regarding safety in the workplace. • Provide rigorous quality assurance, including ensuring robust implementation of NICE guidelines for patient care and management. • Coordinate groupwide emergency response protocols and procedures.• Accountable for growing turnover via identifying and advising on lucrative new business development opportunities. • Established an exceptionally high-performing team via motivational leadership, effective training, targeted coaching & mentoring and robust performance management. • Ensure a strong competitive advantage via defining and implementing high-expectation clinical outcome measures and leading the development of aligned communication strategies. • Drive revenue growth via supporting impactful marketing, PR and publication activity, including mass stakeholder marketing with teaching and educational activities. • Secured meetings with the senior leadership of major health ensures to establish a strong local presence within the wellness clinical examinations market. • Negotiated highly competitive rates for employee's health insurance. • Advised on occupational health decisions for the return-to-work staff protocol.

• Successfully navigated the organisation through the pandemic, including defining crisis management guidelines. • Established, launched and held full operational management responsibility for a £40m, 47k sqft hospital in Hatfield. This included managing the recruitment of c. 90 consultants across multiple disciplines. Projected revenue forecast to exceed investment business case. • Identified and moved 15 leading consultants to this new unit, driving c. 40% revenue growth within the first six months.

- I was the clinical founder of this start-up healthcare group. May role consisted of engaging with the stakeholders both NHS and private sector Health insurance companies.- I recruited interest in work from the major private practitioners and assisted them in developing a healthy surgical and medical practice.- Teaching activities for the Primary and secondary care physicians was set up.
