We were early with block-level file transfer and easy management + console for sync jobs on AWS. My role was a mix of sales engineer, project management, and biz dev. This was an awesome learning opportunity and my first professional experience in tech - great teammates and mentors, and I was able to help a few companies begin their transformation of popular software to cloud offerings (SaaS) -> always on, across devices, and in sync.Over my 20s, I learned about building companies and products by surrounded myself with great founders, teachers, experts, students, advisors, and fellow product people. I also co-founded three companies = experimenting + trial and error:1. Own Group - InStore Point of Sale was one of the first cloud + tablet POS Platforms built for SMBs. Also referred to as a Restaurant Operating System (ROS).(Acquired by Slice)2. AdOptics was a mobile app technology that used audio fingerprinting to identify user interests and activity insights for improved ad targeting and recommendations.3. Get@ was an iOS app designed to help people seamlessly access and discover content from thousands of apps in one place.
