The program is developing a IoT based continuous monitoring solution for methane gas emission in open oil and gas fields.• Successfully led multiple programs for developing software tools for productivity improvements. Controls Engineer
Worked on multiple research programs including advance wind turbine controls, integrated gasification combined cycle controls, centrifugal compressor controls, in-flight aircraft refueling system controls and advance gas turbine controls. Final project report: https://www.osti.gov/servlets/purl/1164222. • Successfully initiated and led Advanced Gas Turbine Controls program. The program showed ways to improve turbine loading rate by 20% without loosening any turbine or operational constraints.• Successfully designed and field tested the advanced temperature control and the drum level control for Heat Recovery Steam Generation System. Both are now part of GE power standard OpFlex product offerings.

• 12 weeks summer internship• Developed nonlinear, 6-Degree of freedom mathematical model and computer simulation for the closed coupled UAVs formation flight.• Analyzed the centralized and the decentralized control laws design for making and maintaining UAVs formation
Scientist
Was part of the National Control Law Team tasked with designing flight control system for India’s first indigenously designed fully fly-by-wire light combat aircraft (LCA). The team was created by drawing experts from multiple research organizations and defense establishments. Responsibilities included analyzing and designing full authority flight control system for statically unstable longitudinal axis dynamics and supporting pilots for high fidelity simulation validation of the controls. • Designed the first flight longitudinal axes controller. LCA successfully flew with this controller in January 2000
