Accomplishments:• Set-up and led project portfolio services’ function at a British FMCG company in UK, including full-fledged project management of a £290k project of DC migration of the company’s CRM solution from one Data centre to another.• Successfully transitioned multiple strategic IT infrastructure projects into service operations at a leading company in grocery related retailing and retail banking business in UK. • Successfully managed a large application program that was an enabler program to Data Centre Migration at a FTSE 250 mobile retailer. My over-all responsibilities included managing all aspects of e2e application program delivery (made-up of 4 projects, plus testing). • Managed a multi-million pound outsourcing contract for Cloud Infrastructure Operations at a leading Pan-European printing and document management services. Turn-around in Service Operation's stability that I achieved laid foundation for launch of new services and client’s other data centre consolidations. Also designed and implemented service catalogue that generated additional yearly revenue of £1.2m for Infosys. Another 15% increase in project margin was achieved by reducing inefficiencies in roles and resources. • Headed a multi-million pound programme for streamlining Design, Build and Operations of test environments' Infrastructure at UK's largest Telecom Group. I steered execution of continuous improvement and transformation strategy that reduced service outages by 35% and improved end user experience. Delivery excellence thus demonstrated helped securing additional yearly revenue of £0.5m.• Led E2E Operations of Test Environments at one of Group Company of UK's largest Telecom group company where I envisioned and led implementation of a multi-dimensional ITIL inspired strategy that not only increased average service availability by 60% but also boosted team productivity in excess of 75%. The Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) division of GE Corporate operated shared services for data center, telecom and network Infrastructure and advisory services to GE business units and subsidiaries. My responsibilities included leading GIS operations for Europe and Middle East Asia.• Build and led core technical teams to:o Consolidate 30-city network to 8 cities, saving £2M in annual costs, without build-out budget. o Pioneer emerging technology for new network access product, delivering a scalable and supportable product resulting in £0.15M yearly cost optimisation.o Re-architecture WAN of the company’s largest European shared data center, reducing high-impact incidents by 90%.• Outsourcing - Managed implementation of deals that saved up to £3.0M Y-o-Y cost. • Reducing Operational Cost of shared services - Re-engineered and re-negotiated deals to drop cost of several network access services by up to 25%. • Talent Development - Promoted excellence by awarding international assignments to top performers
