• Sourcing appropriate images for the subject matter for UK and US market. • Clearing and negotiating rights of the reproduction of stock images. • Conducting an effective search at commercial photo libraries, private or state collections, museums and archives. • Analyzing and managing images of every format, including digital files, transparencies, prints, and illustrations, for defects, both technical and aesthetic. • Storing images safely as appropriate to the format. • Commissioning photographers to shoot particular images – briefing and arranging permissions, contracts and deadlines. • Negotiating finance such as budgeting, pricing and fee agreement.• Maintaining photo database, records and documentation.• Maintaining documentation of photo permission records • Work closely with visualiser/designer to use the best visual content in children’s book.• Work closely with Art directors to acquire audio & visual contents for digital products.

• Captioning and Keywording for stock photos.• Categorization of the stock photos on basis concepts and ideas.• Image research for magazines,slide shows,ad agencies and classifieds. • Tagging relevant IPTC metadata, EXIF with images for better photo search on web.• Analyze the permissions documents such as property release and model release.• Training associates on various aspects of Keywording for better image searching. • Categorization of images RF, RM and Editorial.• Maintain quality feedback sheet for error rate tracking and process improvement.
