Responsible for the states of Punjab & Jammu & Kashmir. Key responsibilities included capacity building of all Trucker TIs in the state, ensuring transfer of learning from TCI Foundation’s Kavach Program to all TIs, liaison and working closely with SACS and the TIs to achieve the objectives of the program. Key achievements -Micro Level Planning (Study) at 11 major trans-shipment locations—to understand and recommend targeted interventions at these sites: Maharashtra (Mumbai-6) and Gujarat (Ahmadabad-2, Gandhidham-1, Kandla-1 and Jamnagar-1).-Supported implementation Waste Management Systems at all partner locations as per the required protocols -Supported in the establishment of trucker CBOs at the TI locations-Supported compliance of NACO financial guidelines across all trucker TIs

Project supported by CordAid and implemented by COVA/ Roshan Vikas Foundation. Responsible for managing the promotion and strengthening of Roshan Vikas Thrift Cooperative and Mahila Sanatkar Cooperative (Women artisans’ co-operative) in Hyderabad. These are community owned and managed financial institutions to reduce urban poverty through Savings, Credit and Livelihood Development. Key responsibilities were devising the strategy and business projections, building linkages with market and networks, monitoring the overall performance of both the bodies and operational management of the program including supervision of administrative & financial management of the co-operatives. Key Achievements -Devised policies, strategies & business projections for the livelihood & development services for the members of Roshan Vikas Thrift Cooperative & Mahila Sanatkar Artisans Cooperative-Strengthened networks with artisans & retailers and support them to build linkages to niche markets like FAB-India, Industree, Futures Group, and various other individual bulk buyers.-Conducted research on the Impact of Micro Finance on the livelihoods of the members of Roshan Vikas Thrift cooperative.-Devised insurance products for the micro entrepreneurs in collaboration with United India Insurance, IRDA, Sa-Dhan.

Managed the UNIFEM project on ‘Alternative Livelihood Programme Management (to stop women trafficking and HIV/AIDS).’ Key responsibilities were monitoring program performance using qualitative and quantitative methods, stakeholder management and working closely with government agencies, implementing program strategies at the village level and ensuring budgetary compliance of project. Key Achievements -Anti-trafficking Village Level Committees-Livelihood linkages with corporate houses like Mysore Silks, Titan Industries, etc.

Data Collection and Analysis of the data of a National Study on Girls/Women in prostitution in India” (Supported by Dept. of Women & Child Development, GoI) “Children of the prostitutes in Delhi” carried out the study and prepared report.
